CARING FOR TOMORROW TODAY
ABOUT OUR TEAM
Tusk and Horn Wildlife Trust was founded by Sarah Jones in 2013 and a small team of conservation driven volunteers in New Zealand. Having worked with rhino for over 12 years, Sarah's passion and motivation to help assist pioneering elephant and rhino focused projects in the field, began in 2000 with the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya.
Saving the Survivors in South Africa became the second project to be supported through our fundraising initiatives in 2013, followed by Rhino Art in 2017 and the Zululand Rhino Orphanage in 2018.
By adopting our beneficiaries we have chosen to give elephants and rhino protection, veterinary care, rehabilitation and ultimately a wild future.
All projects are immersed in the rural communities bordering wildlife reserves providing vital education and employment for those living alongside elephant and rhino populations.
As ambassadors for earth's largest land mammals, participating in events to raise funding for the teams rescuing, rehabilitating and protecting elephants and rhinos in the wild is what we do. Our unique costume pieces help raise awareness and are a visual reminder of two sentient and iconic species poached daily for their tusks and horns.
